Prints?

So in addition to planning some new competitions to win a couple of free prints I’m thinking about opening up an online bigcartel store to raise some funds for a few little photography supplies I’m hopping to acquire.

I guess I need to ask:

  • Is there insterest for this? Buying prints of live photos of some of your favourite bands?
  • What sort of sizes are people interested in? I can print anything from postcard sized up to..well fairly giant, but is there a general preference?
  • Shipping worldwide? Is a blanket fee fairer than more for further away?
  • Dollars or Pounds?

Hello lovelies!
As promised, CtrlAltRock will be giving you the chance to win these exclusive, one-of-a-kind ‘album artwork’ previews hand drawn by Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat of All Time Low. Given the recent disaster in Japan, CtrlAltRock would like to take this opportunity to give what we can to such a vital cause. So, in order to be entered into the draw for the artwork, we’re asking each of you to donate what you can to the cause.
HOW TO WIN:
Make a donation here on the Red Cross website. You can donate however much you would like, or whatever you can afford (the amount you donate doesn’t affect your chances). The Red Cross will be using these donations to aid the relief effort in Japan over the coming months and years.
Print-screen a recipt of your donation, or the confirmation email. (Here’s a print-screening tutorial if you need it!)
Send the photo to competitions@ctrlaltrock.com with the subject header ‘All Time Low’.
That’s it! You’re instantly entered into the grand prize draw. The contest will close at 12pm GMT on April 13th, and you can enter as many times as you’d like. Each drawing will be raffled off separately, so you have double the chance of winning. Keep an eye on CtrlAltRock for more opportunities to win awesome prizes from great bands while helping an amazing cause. Please reblog this to spread the word! In the meantime…what are you waiting for. Donate!

About

Self-taught photographer based in Scotland. Originally just worked on live music but I've branched out into other fields (landscapes and animal portraits mostly - with a random human portrait thrown in from time to time). Now I'm never without at least one camera. Uses: Canon 50D, an assortment of Canon and Sigma Lenses, Canon Ixus 95, old-reliable Canon Powershot S45, Fisheye2 and Polaroid 600. Loves: traveling, canon gear, a good book, music, and cheese.
