To be completely honest I’m not really happy with any of the photos in this set, but having ended up in a very narrow photopit with far too many photographers and security at Leeds Academy is was rather out of my control. It also didn’t help that the lighting tech on this tour is horrific (and imo should be fired). Sometimes lights are bad for the first three songs because for some effed up reason the bands don’t want photographers to get very good photos (which it just wasting out time!) and thereafter the light will improve - this was not the case last night. I tend to judge good lights by this: if you are standing more than halfway back and you can’t actually see anyones face then the lights are terrible. I would have expected more from a tour of this size. Lets not even talk about how horrific my photos of Four Year Strong and The Wonder Years are. underlighting and non-white front lighting should be banned.
